Alexander Wurz (born September 13, 1985 in Bühl / Baden-Württemberg ) is a German tenor horn , baritone and euphonium soloist and works as a conductor in various wind orchestras.

Life

Alexander Wurz's musical training began at the age of seven in the local music association and continued during school with lessons on trombone , tenor horn and drums . After graduating from school, Wurz began studying music at the Robert Schumann University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, studying trombone, tenor horn / baritone, euphonium and piano . Professional orchestras in Germany and abroad became aware of him during his studies, such as " Michael Klostermann and his musicians ".

From 2008 to 2014 he was first tenor in Air Force Music Corps 2 in Karlsruhe and was a member and soloist in various cultural orchestras, such as the symphonic wind orchestras of the Bundeswehr and police. Wurz is a tenor in the " Ernst Hutter & Die Egerländer Musikanten " wind orchestra and an endorser for Miraphone .

Alexander Wurz is a conductor in various wind orchestras and lecturer and soloist in workshops for brass and for entire ensembles.
