Alexei Alexejewitsch Denissenko ( Russian Алексей Алексеевич Денисенко ; born August 30, 1993 in Rostov-on-Don ) is a Russian Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 68 kilograms.
Life
His first international title fights denied Denissenko at the Junior World Championship 2010 in Tijuana , where he reached the final in the class up to 51 kilograms and won silver. Two years later he started in the adult division at the European Championships in Manchester . He moved into the quarterfinals, but was eliminated there against Joel González . In January 2012, Denissenko was able to reach the final of the European Olympic qualification tournament in Kazan in the weight class up to 58 kilograms and surprisingly qualified for the Olympic Games in London . There he won the bronze medal.
