Alfio Caltabiano

Alfio Caltabiano (born July 17, 1932 in Pistoia , † July 19, 2007 in Rome ) was an Italian stuntman , actor and director .

Life

Caltabiano initially earned his living as a boxer and crime writer before becoming a stunt double for Charlton Heston in Ben Hur came to film, where he initially as a stuntman and Champion but also in supporting roles as an actor and then as a screenwriter and director in the genre cinema successfully was. After finishing his film career, he devoted himself to the expansion and marketing of the Villa Monte d'oro in the vicinity of Rome.

Caltabiano has been married since 1964 and has one daughter.

As pseudonyms he used Alf Randal , Alf Thunder and Al Northon .
