action
The shooting-happy adventurer Uriah, called Cayado (in some countries also Sartana), comes to a small western town. After messing with a couple of troublemakers in the saloon, he meets Kirchner, a bounty hunter who is after the bandit Slim. The latter is behind the murder of Uriah's wife; soon he and his men rob a bank. Uriah sets out with Kirchner and a few people, is able to turn the gang and kill Slim in a bloody shootout. Satisfied with the result, Uriah and Kirchner move on.
Reviews
Split reviews. While Ulrich P. Bruckner , who named his Lexicon of Spaghetti Westerns after this film, saw in this film "decent and extremely hard" goods, the critic from the Lexicon of International Films felt the work as "extraordinarily brutal". Even the Protestant film observer doesn't think much of the film: “Westerns off the peg. Action, play, typing remain within the framework of what is usual in such works. The suspicion of Mexicans is almost racial incitement. Only for steadfast friends of this type of film. "
Remarks
Film songs are Maybe Somewhere, Maybe Someday , sung by Raoul , Un giorno ti pentirai , interpreted by Franco Morselli and Sogni ed ombre , which Vania sings.
