Rosalba Neri

Rosalba Neri (born June 19, 1939 in Forlì , Emilia-Romagna ) is an Italian actress . It applies in particular through their participation in several low-budget - horror movies and erotic dramas in the 1970s as an icon of European genre film.

Life

After graduating from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, Neri began her film career at the age of 19 with a small role in Luigi Comencini's comedy Girlfriends (1958). This was followed by a series of other productions such as Roberto Rossellini's award-winning drama It Was Night in Rome (1960) or the film adaptation of the adventures of an ancient Egyptian court doctor with The Curse of the Pharaoh (1960). After several sandal films (often in the role of villain), she starred in several spy films from the mid-1960s , but also in a number of spaghetti westerns , and since the late 1960s, when she intensified her film work, in some Italian thrillers ( Giallo ) and in Horror and erotic films with some revealing scenes. Neri could be seen on some covers of magazines such as "Playmen" or "Io".

In the mid-1970s she gradually withdrew from the film business and devoted herself more to her family. For some films she used the pseudonym Sara Bey or Sara Bay .
