content

El Bedoja and his gang, including his brother Chinchi, have brutally attacked a bank and are mainly pursued by two bounty hunters while on the run. One of them is the experienced, calm and mysterious Rocco; the other is the boisterous, young nigros, who after a family tragedy (his brother was innocently sentenced to prison) chose this livelihood. The experienced is about a revenge, the boy about the bounty. After Hud refuses a partnership, Nigros allies himself with the strange explosives specialist Knallfrosch. After Nigro has saved Rocco's life, he accepts him as his partner. Together they can make El Bedoja; it turns out that Rocco is the older brother of the young nigros.

criticism

"Brutal Euro-Western."

"The film is not particularly remarkable, but it does what it says on the tin, and it does it on a technically good level."

- Christian Keßler : Welcome to Hell, 2002.
  • Ulrich P. Bruckner considers the film to be “the best of the three Caltabiano westerns” (For a few more corpses, 2006).
  • The evangelical film observer remarks succinctly that it is an Italian wild west film of average production, the brutality of which makes it unsuitable for young people.
