Alfonso Castaneda is a municipality in the Philippine province of Nueva Vizcaya on the island of Luzon . In 1995 there were 4,447 inhabitants and in 2000 there were 4,808 inhabitants. In 2015 it had 7940 inhabitants.
Alfonso Castaneda is divided into the following six barangays (2007 population figures in brackets):
