Bayombong

Bayombong is a municipality in the Philippine province of Nueva Vizcaya . Bayombong is also the seat of the provincial government and thus the capital of Nueva Vizcaya. Bayombong is the seat of the Bayombong diocese .

The most important educational institution is Saint Mary's University , founded in 1968 as part of a government development program to modernize the Magat Valley , and Nueva Vizcaya State University . Bangan Hill National Park is located in Barangay Magsaysay . One of the main attractions of Bayombong is the Capitol Park, which is also called the Luneta of the North based on the Rizal Park in Manila . It is approximately eight hectares, has a large lagoon and various other facilities for relaxation. The Rizal Shrine is located in the Barangay Casat, it was established in honor of José Rizal and is considered to be an architectural gem of the region. St. Dominic Cathedral, Bayombong Children's Park, and the People's Museum and Library are in the center of the community.
