The diocese of Bayombong ( lat . : Dioecesis Bayombongensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese located in the middle of the island of Luzon in the Philippines , with its seat in Bayombong . It includes the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino .

history

Pope Paul VI founded the territorial prelature Bayombong with the Apostolic Constitution Patris instar on November 7, 1966 from cession of territory of the diocese of Tuguegarao and it was subordinated to the archdiocese of Nueva Segovia as a suffragan diocese.

On September 21, 1974, it became part of the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao . With the Apostolic Constitution Cum Decessores it was elevated to a diocese on November 15, 1982.
