Alfta is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Gävleborgs län and the historic province of Hälsingland . It belongs to the municipality of Ovanåker and is about fifteen kilometers east of Edsbyn .
The place is on the river Voxnan and on the Orsa – Bollnäs railway line , which is without traffic here. The Riksväg 50 performs Alfta.
