The Algerian national futsal team is a representative selection of Algerian futsal players . The team represents the Algerian Football Association at international matches. The team took part in the first Futsal World Cup under the auspices of FIFA in 1989, but has only appeared sporadically since then.

Performing in tournaments

Algeria was invited by FIFA in 1989 to take part in the Futsal World Cup in the Netherlands. In a group with the Netherlands, Paraguay and Denmark you finished the preliminary round after three defeats in the last place in the table. The next international appearance of an Algerian futsal team was not until 1998, then there was another break until 2005. The national team played again in 2010, with participation in the futsal tournament of the Union of North African Football Federations and the Mediterranean Futsal Cup . However, the national team has never yet participated in a qualification for the Futsal World Cup or the African Championship.
