The Libyan national futsal team is a representative selection of Libyan futsal players . The team represents the Libyan Football Association at international matches. The team is the reigning African champion and took part in a World Cup finals for the first time in 2008.

Performing in tournaments

Libya's greatest success was winning the 2008 African Cup in his own country. In the final they defeated the previous series champions Egypt 4: 3 after extra time and at the same time qualified for the 2008 World Cup in Brazil. A year earlier they won the Arab Futsal Championship, and they also prevailed in the last and decisive game against Egypt. At the 2008 World Cup, despite good performances, they only got one point from four games and were eliminated after the preliminary round.
