Alin Constantin Lițu (born October 22, 1986 in Craiova , Dolj district ) is a former Romanian football player . The striker played a total of 93 games in League 1 . In 2005 and 2006 he won the Romanian championship with Steaua Bucharest .

Club career

Lițu has played in Steaua Bucharest's first team since 2004 . He made his debut in Divizia A on May 8, 2005 against Oțelul Galați . The game was lost 0-1. To collect match practice, he was awarded for the 2006/07 season to league rivals Jiul Petroşani . He was not used there regularly and could not score a goal. At the end of the season he was relegated with the club. On his return, Steaua loaned him again - this time to Gloria Buzau , where he was regularly used. Although the loan was scheduled for two years, Steaua brought him back during the 2008/09 winter break . In the second half of the season he made eight appearances.

In the summer of 2009, Steaua again agreed a loan deal. In the first half of the 2009/10 season Lițu played for the Cypriot club ASIL Lysi . Already in the winter break of 2009/10 , the Romanian first division club Gaz Metan Mediaș took him under contract. There he concluded the 2010/11 season with qualification for the Europa League . From summer 2012 he was without a club for 18 months before FC Universitatea Craiova signed him . He ended his career there in 2014.
