Johnson, who started ski jumping with her brother Anders Johnson at the age of five , began her international career at FIS jumping in 2003. On July 23, 2004, she made her debut in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in her home town of Park City . She immediately jumped into the top ten in the two competitions. She was able to repeat these achievements several times during the season and thus reached 9th place in the overall standings at the end of the 2004/05 season . In the following years their performances fluctuated greatly. In the 2006/07 season she again reached 9th place in the overall standings. On September 13, 2008, she won her first competition in Lillehammer . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , she reached 20th place in individual jumping on the normal hill. The 2009/10 season she finished after good performances again in 9th place in the overall standings.
