Aljaksandr Mikalajewitsch Linnik ( Belarusian Аляксандр Мікалаевіч Ліннік , international after World Athletics spelling English Aliaksandr Linnik ; born January 28, 1991 ) is a Belarusian short distance runner .
Career
Aljaksandr Linnik has celebrated four international and a large number of national successes so far.
In 2009 Linnik won the bronze medal in the hurdles over 110 m at the Junior European Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia, in 13.41 seconds. A year later, Linnik sprinted in Moncton , Canada, at the Junior World Championships over 200 m in 20.89 s to silver. In 2011 and 2015, Linnik took third place at the European Team Championships : 2011 in Stockholm, Sweden, in 20.90 s over the 200 m and in 2015 in Cheboksary, Russia, in 45.43 s over the 400 m.
In the period from 2009 to 2019, Linnik also secured the title of Belarusian champion 17 times over various short-distance distances.
