Aljaksej Mikalajewitsch Nitschypar ( Belarusian Аляксей Мікалаевіч Нічыпар , English transcription Aliaksei Nichypar ; born April 10, 1993 ) is a Belarusian shot putter .

Athletic career

Aljaksej Nitschypar gained his first international experience in 2012 at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona , where he was eliminated from the qualification with a width of 18.39 m with the 6 kg ball. The following year he reached tenth place at the U23 European Championships in Tampere with 17.69 m in the final and in 2015 he was twelfth at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn with 17.84 m. In 2016 he took part in the European Championships in Amsterdam for the first time, but did not reach the final with 19.34 m, as was the case at the 2017 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade , where he was eliminated in qualifying with 18.90 m. He also qualified for the World Championships in London that year , where 19.54 m were not enough for a final . Just two weeks later he was fourth at the Summer Universiade in Taipei with 20.09 m. In 2018 he took part in the 2018 European Championships in Berlin , where he made it to the finals, in which he finished tenth with 20.27 m. The following year he classified himself at the Military World Games in Wuhan with a width of 20.27 m in eleventh place.

From 2017 to 2019 Nitschypar was Belarusian champion in the shot put outdoors and in 2017 and 2018 also indoors.
