Aloïs Boudry (born August 12, 1851 in Ypres , † November 27, 1938 in Antwerp ) was a Belgian painter of genre scenes, portraits and still lifes .

He began his painting apprenticeship at the art schools in Ypres, then in Roeselare . Studied at the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten van Antwerpen with Nicaise de Keyser and Joseph van Lerius .

In 1885 he joined the Antwerp association of visual artists "Als ik Kan", who worked in the traditional way. He took part in the Brussels World's Fair in 1910 . He gave an exhibition in Antwerp in 1906.

In the summer months he painted the villagers with their daily activities in his fisherman's house in Oostduinkerke . After the outbreak of World War I in 1914, he fled to Great Britain , where he mainly occupied himself with portraiture. He came to Italy in 1917 .

He has received several awards, including an honorable mention at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1889 , the silver medal in Bordeaux in 1895 and the silver medal in Brussels in 1910.

His son Robert Boudry (1878–1961) and his grandson Paul Boudry (1913–1976) were also painters.
