Aloÿs Nizigama

Aloÿs Nizigama (born June 18, 1966 in Songa , Bururi Province ) is a Burundian long-distance runner .

At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in 1991 , he was sixth over 10,000 m . Two years later he was fifth over 5000 m and seventh over 10,000 m at the World Championships in Stuttgart .

At the Olympic Games he finished fourth in Atlanta in 1996 and ninth in Sydney in 2000 .

In 2005 he finished ninth in the Stockholm Marathon .

Aloÿs Nizigama stayed under 28:30 minutes over 10,000 m in 35 races, more often than any other runner (as of December 2009).
