Aloe ambositrae is a species of the genus Aloes in the subfamily of the Affodilla plants (Asphodeloideae). The specific epithet ambositrae refers to the occurrence of the species in Ambositra on Madagascar.

Vegetative characteristics
Aloe ambositrae grows trunk-forming and branched. The trunks are prostrate up to 20 centimeters, then become erect and reach a height of 110 centimeters. The 18 to 25 upright leaves form rosettes . Dead leaves remain on the stems. The dark green leaf blade is 30 to 45 inches long and 3 to 4 inches wide. The greenish-white teeth on the leaf margin are 3 millimeters long and 8 to 25 millimeters apart.
Inflorescences and flowers
The inflorescence consists of two to five, 17 to 25 centimeter long branches and reaches a height of 100 centimeters. The cylindrical grapes are 15 to 23 centimeters long and consist of 20 to 45 flowers. The red bracts are 5 millimeters long and 3 millimeters wide. The cylindrical, yellow, red in the bud stage, flowers are 14 to 20 millimeter long peduncles . The flowers are 25 millimeters long. In the upper half they are widened to the mouth. Your outer tepals are not fused together. The stamens and the style is not out of the flower out.
Systematics and distribution
Aloe ambositrae is widespread in Ambositra in Madagascar on granite island mountains on clay at altitudes of around 1650 meters.
