Alois Fenninger

Alois Fenninger (born July 8, 1941 in Ledinegg , Yugoslavia - today Ledinek, municipality of Sveta Ana , Slovenia ; † October 29, 2013 , in Gössendorf near Graz ) was an Austrian paleontologist .

Life

Fenninger was founded in 1967 at the University of Graz Dr. phil. PhD. From 1963 to 1967 he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Geology and Paleontology at the University of Graz. In 1967 he became an assistant there and later a professor. His botanical author abbreviation is " Fenninger ".

As a paleontologist, he dealt with hydrozoans and algae, among other things .
