Think

For decades, Alois Haas dealt with the history of Western spirituality and questions of religious philosophy. For several years he has been concerned with theistic and atheistic mysticism. As a Catholic intellectual he endeavors to make sense of the uncertainty that now dominates our spiritual inspirations to the absolute. In his experience there is no darkness without light, the darkness itself is light that can be guessed at in the realities of life. Suhrkamp-Verlag describes him as "the undisputed master of so-called German mysticism ".
