Alois Sladek
Alois Sladek (born November 26, 1903 in Turn near Teplitz , † April 26, 1987 in Tegernheim ) was a German local politician and association official ( AWO ).
biography
education and profession
After attending elementary and community school, Sladek studied electrical engineering and mechanical engineering with a degree and passed the master's examination in the installation trade. He then worked for 16 years as a technician or engineer and became self-employed in building services and hydraulic engineering. From 1940 to 1945 he was a soldier in World War II and became a prisoner of war. From 1946 he was deputy head of the Regensburg waterworks , later head of the machine office and the municipal crane operation.
politics
From 1952 to 1966 Sladek was a representative of the SPD in the Regensburg city council. He was chairman of the Lower Bavaria / Upper Palatinate district association of the workers 'welfare organization and deputy state chairman of the workers' welfare organization in Bavaria.
From 1976 to 1978 Sladek was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
Honors
- Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany , Bonn, June 23, 1981 by Federal President Carstens.
- He was awarded the Marie Juchacz plaque from the Arbeiterwohlfahrt in 1973.
