Alon Abelski (born May 29, 1989 in Düsseldorf ) is a German football player . Since 2018 he has been under contract with the upper division Sportfreunde Baumberg .
Career
After two years with the Duisburg Reserve, Abelski made his professional game debut on January 17, 2010 when he came on as a substitute for Srđan Baljak in the 87th minute of the game between MSV Duisburg and FSV Frankfurt . Previously, he was given a professional contract until 2012. For the 2010/11 season he moved to Arminia Bielefeld , where he received a two-year contract. His ongoing contract with MSV Duisburg was terminated by mutual agreement, which allowed him to change for free.
After Abelski's contract lost its validity after the relegation of Arminia to the 3rd division after the 2010/11 season, the regional league team Eintracht Trier announced the commitment of Abelski on August 22, 2011. After three years in Trier, he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching in summer 2014 . There he became a regular player straight away and scored four goals in the 2014/15 season. In the end, the midfielder was relegated with Haching from the 3rd division.
For the 2015/16 season Abelski returned to North Rhine-Westphalia and joined the amateur club Rather SV . He led the club with 22 goals this season to stay in the regional league . Just one season later, Abelski and his brother Ben moved to the district league for MSV Düsseldorf. For the club he scored 29 goals in 31 games and celebrated promotion to the national league with him. After that year, the Abelski brothers moved again and joined the Düsseldorf district division Sparta Bilk . Alon Abelski led the club in the 2017/18 season with 32 goals for promotion to the district league.
Alon is the brother of Ben Abelski , who used to play in the second team of Fortuna Düsseldorf and Wuppertaler SV . Both brothers played for the German team at the 2017 Maccabiade .
