Alright, Still is the debut album by British pop singer Lily Allen . It was released worldwide on July 14, 2006.
Background information
In 2005 Allen created a user account on the Myspace website and posted demos of her songs there. This convinced thousands of listeners. OMM magazine published an article on Allen describing how the singer became successful through MySpace .
The album title Alright, Still comes from a song line in the second track "Knock 'Em Out" of the album.

The album was received positively by critics. The Observer magazine rated it the 10th best album of 2006 and The Guardian the 7th best album of the year. Rob Sheffield, a writer for the British music magazine Rolling Stone , said that Alright, Still "is just one more piece of evidence that Lily Allen is original" and also rated the album positively.
