history

Altstaßfurt is the oldest part of today's city, which at the time of its founding consisted of Staßfurt and Leopoldshall . Today there are only a few historically preserved buildings here, the rest were demolished and there are now residential blocks of the Staßfurt-Nord residential area in the same place .
