The Staßfurt-Mitte district is located south of Staßfurt-Nord and north of Leopoldshall in Staßfurt in the Salzlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt .

history

Staßfurt-Mitte arose with the old town . Here are next to the town hall where the mayor (currently Sven Wagner ) resides and Staßfurter City Council has its seat, even the tax office and the Ameos - Hospital , which as a main hospital serves the city. Furthermore, the Sparkasse for the Salzlandkreis ("Salzlandsparkasse") and the Staßfurt municipal utilities have their headquarters here.
