Amanda Frisbie (born May 29, 1992 in North Richland Hills ) is an American football player .

Career

societies

During her studies at the University of Portland , Frisbie played for the Portland Pilots university team from 2010 to 2013 . In January 2014, she was signed in the first round of the Seattle Reign FC franchise in seventh place in the college draft of the NWSL . Due to several injuries, Frisbie did not play a competitive game for Seattle and switched to league rivals Western New York Flash in March 2015 . For this she made her debut on June 6, 2015 in a 3-1 home win against the Chicago Red Stars in the NWSL, and she scored her first goal on July 11 of the same year. For the 2016 season, Frisbie moved to the reigning champions FC Kansas City , where she was only used sporadically at the beginning of the season. In July 2016, she moved on to the Icelandic first division club UMF Stjarnan , with whom she won the championship at the end of the season. In January 2017, Frisbie returned to the NWSL and joined the Boston Breakers .

National team

In 2014, Frisbie took part in the six-nation tournament in La Manga with the U-23 national team of the United States , where he completed two international matches.
