Amanda Setton (born December 16, 1985 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress . She is best known for her role as Penelope Shafai in the television series Gossip Girl and as Kimberly Andrews in Love, Lie, Passion .

Life

Setton was born in New York and raised in Great Neck, where she was president of her high school theater club. She is a Jew. Setton graduated from Ithaca College . In her first year she studied abroad, in Barcelona, ​​Spain, with the IES program . Setton completed a two-year “Meisner Technique Program” at the Actors Workshop in Ithaca.

Career

Setton played Penelope Shafai in the teen drama Gossip Girl from 2008 to 2012 . Starting August 14, 2009, she played Kimberly Andrews in the ABC soap opera Love, Lies, Passions . Setton also plays small roles such as in 2008 in the movie Sex and the City and Love Vegas .
