Ambergerhof is a district of the city of Dietfurt an der Altmühl in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The wasteland is located about six km southeast of the municipality on the plateau of the southern Franconian Alb at the upper edge of the left valley slope of the Altmühlmünsterbach .

history

In the Kingdom of Bavaria (from 1806) the wasteland appears as part of the Altmühlmünster community in the Riedenburg district court . In 1875 it is one of five districts of this municipality, has 7 inhabitants and consists of 2 buildings; 6 head of cattle were kept at that time. The number of residents has changed little to this day. The census on December 1, 1900, showed the population of 8 in a residential building. In 1912 9 people lived in the yard.

In the early 1980s, the farm was incorporated into the city of Dietfurt ad Altmühl and had 7 inhabitants at the census on May 25, 1987, with only one residential building. In 2012 the population was 8.
