Ambroise Uma Arakayo Amabe (* 1930 in Giro , Watsa , Democratic Republic of the Congo , † April 1, 1989 in Isiro , Haut-Uele ) was Bishop of Isiro-Niangara .

Life

Ambroise Uma Arakayo Amabe received on 25 June 1961, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 6, 1972, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Horrea Coelia and ordered him to Coadjutor Bishop of Isiro-Niangara. The Apostolic Nuncio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Archbishop Bruno Torpigliani , donated him episcopal ordination on September 23 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Kisangani , Augustin Fataki Alueke , and the Bishop of Isiro-Niangara, François-Odon De Wilde OP .

On February 19, 1976, Ambroise Uma Arakayo Amabe succeeded the late François-Odon De Wilde OP Bishop of Isiro-Niangara.
