Amos Lee (* 1978 in Philadelphia ) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist.

Life

His music can be described as a mix of folk , soul and jazz . His artistic development was strongly influenced by Norah Jones . He appeared as the opening act in her concerts, was accompanied musically by her on some of his song recordings and is under contract with the same record label Blue Note Records . But Amos Lee also went on tour with other well-known artists such as Bob Dylan , Elvis Costello , Paul Simon , Merle Haggard and Adele . He was supported by drummer Fred Berman and bassist Jaron Olevsky. He also stepped into the public eye by appearing on various TV shows (e.g. Jay Leno ) and playing his songs in well-known US TV series such as Brothers & Sisters , Grey's Anatomy and Dr. House .
