Amos Nadai

Amos Nadai (born March 26, 1948 in Oradea , Romania ) is an Israeli diplomat .

Nadai emigrated to Israel in 1951. From 1966 to 1968 he did his military service in the Israeli armed forces. He then worked in the Israeli Ministry of Tourism from 1969 to 1970. From 1970 to 1974 he studied at the Law School of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem . There Nadai received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and has now become a member of the Israeli Bar Association .

From 1975 to 1976 he worked at the Israeli embassy in Paris . This was followed by posts in the Israeli Foreign Ministry and at Israeli representations abroad, including in Tokyo and Bangkok .

From 1997 to 2001 he was the Israeli ambassador to Norway with simultaneous accreditation as a non-resident ambassador to Iceland . His next ambassadorial post brought him to Beijing , where he has been the Israeli ambassador to the People's Republic of China since August 2007 .

Nadai is married and has two children. He speaks English , French , Hebrew , Japanese and Hungarian .
