Amphoe Ban Bueng ( Thai : อำเภอ บ้านบึง ) is a district ( amphoe - administrative district) in the center of Chonburi Province . The Chonburi Province is located in the east of the central region of Thailand .

geography

The neighboring Amphoe are clockwise from the north: Phan Thong , Phanat Nikhom , Bo Thong , Nong Yai , Si Racha and Mueang Chonburi . All of the Amphoe are in Chonburi Province.

history

The district was initially set up in 1921 as a "branch district" ( King Amphoe ) , and in 1938 it received full amphoe status.

The district of Ban Bueng is divided into eight tambon ("subdistricts" or "municipalities"), which are further subdivided into 52 muban ("villages").

  • Ban Bueng (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ้านบึง ) consisting of parts of the tambon Ban Bueng.
  • Nong Samsak (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง ซ้ำซาก ) consisting of the complete Tambon Nong Samsak.
  • Nong Phai Kaeo (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนองไผ่ แก้ว ) consisting of the parts of the Tambon Khlong Kio, Nong Phai Kaeo.
  • Hua Kunchae (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หัวกุญแจ ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Khlong Kio.
  • Nong Chak (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง ชา ก ) consisting of the complete Tambon Nong Chak.

There are also five " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)

  • Khlong Kio (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล คลอง กิ่ว ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Khlong Kio.
