Ban Laem District ( Thai : อำเภอ บ้านแหลม ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) of Phetchaburi province . Phetchaburi Province is located in the southwestern part of the central region of Thailand .

Neighboring districts (clockwise from southwest): the Amphoe Mueang Phetchaburi and Khao Yoi of Phetchaburi Province and the Amphoe Amphawa and Mueang Samut Songkhram of Samut Songkhram Province . To the west is the bay of Bangkok.
