The Ahrensfelde / Blumberg office was an office in Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which five municipalities in what was then the Bernau district (now the Barnim district , Brandenburg) had come together to form an administrative association. The seat of the official administration was in Ahrensfelde . The Ahrensfelde / Blumberg office was dissolved again in 2003.

Geographical location

The Ahrensfelde / Blumberg office bordered the Panketal office in the north, the Werneuchen office in the east, the Altlandsberg office and the Hoppegarten office in the south, and the state of Berlin in the west .

history

On July 13, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the formation of the Ahrensfelde / Blumberg office. July 31, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office was based in the municipality of Ahrensfelde and initially consisted of five municipalities in what was then the district of Bernau :

  1. Blumberg
  2. Ahrensfelde
  3. Lindenberg
  4. Oak
  5. Mehrow

After an announcement by the Ministry of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg on June 7, 2002, the incorporation of the municipality of Mehrow into the municipality of Ahrensfelde was approved. The merger only became legally effective at the time of the next state-wide local elections on October 26, 2003.

On October 26, 2003, the new Ahrensfelde-Blumberg community was formed from the communities of Ahrensfelde, Blumberg, Eiche and Lindenberg. The Ahrensfelde / Blumberg office was dissolved, and the Ahrensfelde-Blumberg municipality was free. On October 1, 2004, the name of the community was changed to Ahrensfelde. According to the main statute, the community of Ahrensfelde is divided into five districts.
