The Altlandsberg Office was an office in the state of Brandenburg formed in 1993 , in which six municipalities of the then Strausberg district (now Märkisch-Oderland district , Brandenburg ) had merged to form an administrative association. The office was founded in 1992 initially under the name of Amt Niederbarnim-Süd and on a somewhat larger scale with eight municipalities, but the approval of the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg was withdrawn in 1993. At the same time, the Altlandsberg Office was approved to a somewhat smaller extent. The official seat was in the town of Altlandsberg . The Altlandsberg office was dissolved again at the end of 2002.

Geographical location

The Altlandsberg office bordered the Werneuchen office in the north, the Barnim-Oderbruch office in the east, the Märkische Schweiz office in the southeast, the city of Strausberg in the south , the communities of Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf and Neuenhagen near Berlin , and the office in the southwest Hoppegarten and in the west to the Ahrensfelde / Blumberg office .

history

On May 29, 1992 the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his approval for the formation of the Niederbarnim-Süd office. July 1, 1992 was set as the date on which this office was established. The office should have its seat in the city of Altlandsberg and should consist of seven communities and the city of Altlandsberg in what was then the district of Strausberg :

  1. Curd mill
  2. Buchholz
  3. Fredersdorf
  4. Gielsdorf
  5. Wegendorf
  6. Wesendahl
  7. Vogelsdorf
  8. City of Altlandsberg

The decree establishing the Niederbarnim-Süd office was withdrawn on June 23, 1993. At the same time, this date was set as the time when the Altlandsberg office, which was slightly smaller than that of the Niederbarnim-Süd office, came about:

  1. Buchholz
  2. Curd mill
  3. Gielsdorf
  4. Wegendorf
  5. Wesendahl
  6. Altlandsberg

On December 31, 1997, the community Wegendorf was incorporated into the town of Altlandsberg. On December 31, 2002 they merged the communities of Bruchmühle, Buchholz, Gielsdorf, Wesendahl and the city of Altlandsberg to form the new city of Altlandsberg. The Altlandsberg office was dissolved and the new town of Altlandsberg was vacant.
