Torben Piechnik (born May 21, 1963 in Hellerup ) is a former Danish football player .

Career

society

Torben Piechnik started playing football in 1982 at Kjøbenhavns Boldklub , for which he played for the next six years. In 1988 and 1989 he spent two seasons at Ikast FS . Then Piechnik moved to B 1903 Copenhagen , which he did not leave when the first team merged with the Boldklub to form FC Copenhagen in 1992 . After only seven league appearances, the newly crowned European champion decided to move to Liverpool . In his first Premier League season , he only came to 16 missions. In the following season he was only used in one game. He then returned to his Danish homeland and played for Aarhus GF until the end of his career .

National team

Torben Piechnik also played 15 times for Denmark's national team during his career . He was also part of the Danish team that became European champions in 1992 .
