The Erndtebrück office was an office in the former Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Until December 31, 1974, it comprised the four independent municipalities of Benfe , Erndtebrück , Schameder and Zinse .

history

The Erndtebrück office was founded in 1845 and initially comprised the municipalities of Amtshausen , Benfe, Erndtebrück, Feudingen , Großenbach , Oberndorf , Rückershausen , Rüppershausen , Schameder, Steinbach , Volkholz , Weide and Zinse. In 1932 the municipalities of Amtshausen, Feudingen, Großenbach, Oberndorf, Rückershausen, Rüppershausen, Steinbach, Volkholz and Weide left office and formed the new office of Laasphe with the municipalities of the dissolved office of Banfe .

As part of the Sauerland / Paderborn law , the Erndtebrück office was dissolved on January 1, 1975. Its four municipalities, together with the municipalities of Birkelbach , Birkefehl , Balde and Womelsdorf from the Berleburg office, formed today's municipality of Erndtebrück.
