Peter R. Forster

Peter Robert Forster (born March 16, 1950 in Solihull ) is a British clergyman and has been Bishop of Chester since 1996 .

Life

Forster visited the Merton College of Oxford University and graduated in 1973 with a Master of Arts in chemistry from. He then studied theology at the University of Edinburgh . There he obtained a bachelor's degree in theology in 1977 and a Ph.D. in philosophy . From 1978 to 1980 he attended Edinburgh Theological College .

He was ordained a deacon in 1980 and a priest in 1981 .
