history
In 1843, as part of the introduction of the rural community order for the province of Westphalia in the Wiedenbrück district, the Verl office was established. The municipality of Liemke was renamed Schloß Holte in 1964 . By the law on the reorganization of the district of Wiedenbrück and parts of the district of Bielefeld , the office was dissolved on December 31, 1969; The current city of Verl is the legal successor.
