The District Court of Eschenbach in the Upper Palatinate was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1973 and was based in the town of Eschenbach in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

history

In 1810 the Eschenbach Regional Court was established in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria . In 1841, 23 communities were separated, which came to the newly founded Auerbach Regional Court . In 1862, the Eschenbach District Office was formed through the merger of the Auerbach and Eschenbach district courts. The Eschenbach District Court remained as a court authority and was renamed the Eschenbach District Court in Upper Palatinate with the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act in 1879. After the war-related conversion of the Auerbach District Court into a branch of the Eschenbach District Court, the Auerbach District Court was finally abolished in 1956 and the court district was assigned to the Eschenbach District Court. After the Eschenbach district in Upper Palatinate was dissolved, the district court in Eschenbach was also dissolved in 1973.

Courthouse

The former district court building is a stately three-storey hipped roof building with sandstone structures in Maximilian style around 1870.
