The Vilseck District Court was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1959 and was based in Vilseck in Upper Palatinate .

history

In 1838 a regional court (older order) was formed in Vilseck in the course of an administrative reorganization of Bavaria . On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court in Vilseck was set up, the district of which was congruent with that of the previous district court Vilseck and thus from the villages of Adlholz , Ehenfeld , Freihung , Gibbach , Gressenwöhr , Großschönbrunn , Hahnbach , Iber , Irlbach , Kürmreuth , Langenbruck , Massenricht , Schlicht , Seugast , Sigl , Sigras , Suess , Thansüß , Vilseck and Weißenberg . The higher-level instances were the Weiden Regional Court and the Nuremberg Higher Regional Court .

After the Vilseck District Court was downgraded to a branch of the Weiden District Court towards the end of the Second World War and this was confirmed again in 1956, this branch was dissolved on July 1, 1959.

With effect from January 1, 1970, the district of the former Vilseck District Court was separated from the Weiden District Court and added to the Amberg District Court .
