The district court of Erbendorf was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1929 and was based in the city of Erbendorf .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court in Erbendorf was established, the district of which was formed from the previous district of Erbendorf and thus from the villages of Altenstadt , Atzmannsberg , Bärnhöhe , Bernstein , Burggrub , Erbendorf, Friedenfels , Grötschenreuth , Guttenberg , Hauxdorf , Helmbrechts , Hessenreuth , Hohenhard , Krummennaab , Lochau , Naabdemenreuth , Neuenreuth , Pfaben , Poppenreuth , Reuth bei Erbendorf , Röthenbach , Schadenreuth , Siegritz , Thumsenreuth , Trautenberg , Trevesen , Wetzldorf , Wildenreuth and Zwergau . The higher-level instances were the Weiden Regional Court and the Nuremberg Higher Regional Court .

With effect from October 1, 1929, the district court of Erbendorf was repealed and its district was divided as follows:

  • The District Court Kemnath the former municipalities Atzmannsberg, Guttenberg, Hessenreuth, Lochau, damage Reuth, Trevesen and Zwergau were assigned,
  • the places Altenstadt, Bernstein, Burggrub, Erbendorf, Grötschenreuth, Hauxdorf, Krummennaab, Naabdemenreuth, Neuenreuth, Pfaben, Reuth bei Erbendorf, Röthenbach, Siegritz, Thumsenreuth, Trautenberg, Wetzldorf and Wildenreuth went to the district court Neustadt an der Waldnaab
  • the municipalities of Bärnhöhe, Friedenfels, Helmbrechts, Hohenhard and Poppenreuth were assigned to the Waldsassen district court .
