history

From the regional court of the older order Vohenstrauß, the district office of Vohenstrauß emerged as an administrative authority in 1862 . The Regional Court of Vohenstrauss remained the judicial authority and was converted into a local court with the Courts Constitution Act of 1879 . When the Law on the Organization of Ordinary Courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) came into force on July 1, 1973, the district court was repealed.
