The district court of Husum is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of four district courts (AG) in the district of the regional court of Flensburg and one of 22 district courts in the state of Schleswig-Holstein .

    building

    The courthouse is located in a listed building at Theodor-Storm-Straße 5 , 25813 Husum. It was built in 1906/07 by senior building officer Thömer as a free-standing, hip- roofed plastered building with a sandstone portal in the neo-renaissance style.

    The Flensburg Labor Court meets weekly in the building of the Husum District Court .

    1867–1880 Theodor Storm was a judge at the Husum district court - from 1867 as a district judge and from 1879 as a district judge. However, at that time the court was located in the castle in front of Husum , the current court building was not built until later.
