District court Bredstedt

The District Court of Bredstedt was a court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1867 to 1976 and was based in the Schleswig-Holstein city of Bredstedt .

After the Prussian annexation of the Duchy of Schleswig during the German War in 1866, as in the Duchy of Holstein, on September 1, 1867, justice and administration were separated from one another on the lower level. A district court of Bredstedt was created, which is subordinate to the district court Schleswig , whose district consists of Bredstedt itself and the parishes Bargum , Bordelum , Breklum (with the places Almdorf , Breklum , Högel , Lütjenholm , Sönnebüll , Struckum and Vollstedt ), Drelsdorf (with the places Ahrenshöft , Bohmstedt and Drelsdorf ), Joldelund (with Goldebek , Goldelund , Joldelund and Kolkerheide ), Langenhorn and Ockholm . The municipality of Reußenköge , which became independent in 1871 , also belonged to the district court district of Bredstedt.

Since the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Flensburg Regional Court has formed the next higher instance.

With effect from January 1, 1976, the district court of Bredstedt was repealed and its district was added to the district court of Husum .
