The District Court of Illertissen was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1973 and was based in Illertissen .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act, a district court was formed in Illertissen on October 1, 1879, the district of which was identical to the previous district court district of Illertissen .

When the law on the organization of the ordinary courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) came into force on July 1, 1973, the Illertissen district court was dissolved de jure and continued as a branch of the Neu-Ulm district court:

"The District Court of Illertissen will for the time being continued as a branch until the previous district office building is available in Neu-Ulm after the construction of a new district office building for the district court."

The district court in Illertissen was finally dissolved in 2009.
