Aníbal Nieto Guerra
Aníbal Nieto Guerra OCD (born February 23, 1949 in Cistierna ) is Bishop of San Jacinto de Yaguachi .
Life
Aníbal Nieto Guerra joined the Order of the Discalced Carmelites , made his profession on 1975 and was ordained a priest on August 8, 1982 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 10, 2006 titular bishop of Tuscani and auxiliary bishop in Guayaquil . The Archbishop of Guayaquil , Antonio Arregui Yarza Opus Dei , donated him episcopal ordination on July 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Raúl Eduardo Vela Chiriboga , Archbishop of Quito , and Giacomo Guido Ottonello , Apostolic Nuncio in Ecuador .
He was appointed bishop of San Jacinto de Yaguachi on November 4, 2009, and was instituted on February 27 of the next year.
