Anatoly Lomatschenko
Anatolij Mykolajowytsch Lomatschenko ( Ukrainian Анатолій Миколайович Ломаченко ; born December 14, 1964 in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyj , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian boxing coach . He trains his son Wassyl Lomatschenko and the cruiserweight Oleksandr Ussyk , among others .
Vasyl Lomachenko was under the guidance of his father, already in his third professional fight WBO world champion at featherweight .
He has only been training Ussyk since 2017. He helped him beat world class boxer Mairis Briedis from Latvia in the semi-finals of the WBSS tournament in the Riga Arena in Riga , Latvia .
While Yahoo Sports and Ring Magazine the Americans Derrick James 2,017 each for World Coach of the Year voted, Lomatschenko was by the Boxing Writers Association of America (short BWAA) in that year to that price for World Coach of the Year honor. Lomatschenko was also the first Ukrainian to receive this award, which has been presented annually since 1989. The following year, both Ring Magazine and Yahoo Sports voted him world coach of the year .
