Not so Faager

Anders Faager ( Sven Per Anders Faager; born April 3, 1947 in Nässjö ; † June 20, 2019 in Lund ) was a Swedish sprinter .

At the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1969, he was eliminated over 100 m in the preliminary run. In 1971 he was seventh in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the European Championships in Helsinki . Over 400 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay , he was eliminated in the preliminary run.

At the Olympic Games in 1972 he was seventh in the 4 x 400 meter relay and reached the quarter-finals over 400 m .

In 1974 he won the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Stockholm in the 4-by-392-meter relay.

In 1969, 1970 and 1972 he was Swedish champion over 100 m and 200 m .
